Call for Volunteers: Family Law Working Group

Our Family Law Working Group needs members! This working group:

  • monitors developments in the law and practice of family law; and
  • co-ordinates with the sections the development of family law reform policy and submissions;
  • provides recommendations to the Policy & Advocacy Committee regarding advocacy in relation to family law matters.

This year’s work will include deeper development of the CBABC’s support for Unified Family Courts and additional work regarding alternative legal service providers.

Appointment to the Working Group is for a one-year term beginning immediately, and running through August 31, 2020. The Family Law Working Group will meet at least quarterly by video/phone conference.

CBABC members who wish to be considered for this volunteer opportunity are requested to submit your letter of interest with reference to your qualifications and experience to the attention of Kerry L.
