Provincial Council Election of Officers

At its June 15 meeting, in accordance with the CBABC Bylaws, Provincial Council will elect a Vice President, a Secretary Treasurer, and three Officers At Large.

The Branch is now issuing a Call for Nominees for the remaining vacancies, which exist in Cariboo, Nanaimo and Prince Rupert Counties, and in the Thomson-Nicola region of Yale County.

CBABC Remembers Paul D.K. Fraser, QC

Simmons, QC, CBABC Executive Director, remembers Mr. Fraser fondly. “Paul’s commitment to public service was inspiring. Long after he served as CBA president, he continued to mentor the subsequent leaders, including me, and brought together members of the legal profession for good causes. He will be missed.”
