Due to the provincial state of emergency due to flooding, the Merritt Courthouse will remain closed next week, November 29 to December 3, 2021.

Further to the Court’s November 17, 2021 Announcement, due to the provincial state of emergency, flooding, and evacuation orders in Merritt, the Merritt Courthouse will be closed next week, November 22-26, 2021.

If you have a traffic, ticket or bylaw appearance scheduled on November 22 or 23, 2021 and require further information, please contact the Kamloops Court Registry at KamloopsCourtRegistry@gov.bc.ca.

MERRITT TRAFFIC COURT ADJOURNED: NOVEMBER 22-23, 2021

Due to the provincial state of emergency, flooding, and evacuation orders in Merritt, all traffic, ticket and bylaw matters, with hearings previously scheduled at Merritt Provincial Court for November 22 and 23, 2021, are adjourned for rescheduling without the disputant having to attend Court. Parties will be sent a new notice of hearing that will include the date, time, and location of the hearing.
