The BC branch of the Canadian Bar Association is pushing back against the public perception that judges and prosecutors are to blame when repeat violent offenders are released back into the community on bail. CBABC President Aleem Bharmal joins Global News Morning to set the record straight.

The association says it is “concerned about the current public discourse that unfairly blames judges and prosecutors for releasing offenders back into the community on bail.”
