The Rural Education and Access to Lawyers (REAL) Initiative is committed to increasing the awareness of law students about the many career opportunities that exist outside of the urban areas of British Columbia. REAL has established a number of opportunities specifically aimed at law students with the goal of assisting them to gain practice experience in small communities throughout the province.
The benefits of the REAL initiative to law students include:
- Mentoring and local legal training in High Needs Communities
- Access to rural community life and local culture
- Networking/potential future articles
- Additional resources and support from CBABC
If you have further questions or are looking for further information please contact the REAL Program Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
