Arrow Law Corporation is a small (3 lawyer plus 2 staff) general practice firm situated in downtown Revelstoke, British Columbia.  The firm provides legal services in the areas of criminal law, family law, real estate purchases and sales, wills and estate planning, the administration of estates and various corporate matters.  Our lawyers routinely attend both Supreme Court and Provincial Court in Revelstoke and surrounding communities. 

As a general firm in a small town, our ideal candidate is someone who is excellent at dealing with a  diverse range of clientele and is comfortable practicing and learning in several different fields of law, oftentimes on the same day.  As a small firm the administrative assistance provided to you can be limited and on occasion you may find yourself drafting accounts or answering the phone.  You will have the opportunity to meet with clients and be involved with files from start to finish and attend Court.   The staff at Arrow would happily work with you to problem-solve and provide direction when needed.   Looking forward, we are open to growing our firm should the right candidate be available.

The expectation is that you work Monday to Friday from 8.30 am until 4.30 pm with breaks.  The remuneration would be $3500 per month.  Our firm culture is quite relaxed and we don’t stay past 4:30 unless necessary.  We all enjoy skiing, biking and living the Revelstoke lifestyle which is an active one.  

Revelstoke is a wonderful community to reside in.  It has world class biking and skiing and is situated aside Revelstoke National Park.  In the summer there is free live music downtown each night, a weekly farmers market, a vibrant night life and there are plenty of bike / hike / arts & culture groups to join.  Despite its small size, there is no shortage of things to do in Revelstoke.   Housing can be challenging to find and quite expensive so we would encourage you to think about accommodation before you consider this position.
