Sept. 14 – 25, BC-wide telephone clinics. Register today for this unique event.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought challenges to everyone in BC, but especially to vulnerable British Columbians with critical legal needs. Frontline legal charities are struggling to keep up with these emergent legal needs, and could use your help.
As one such charity, Access Pro Bono is hosting its 13th annual legal advice-a-thon event in mid- to late September. It invites BC lawyers to pull together to provide COVID-19 relief services through the BC-wide volunteer event called Pro Bono Going Public.
As a volunteer lawyer, you will be fully insured, able to choose your preferred day and one-hour telephone shift, and matched to a pre-screened client within your chosen practice area. This is another opportunity to promote equal access to justice for all British Columbians. Your conscience will thank you!
