A robe well-travelled

Margaret Hollis

Margaret purchased this robe for her call to the bar in 1989. She enjoyed her time in court and spent a lot if it at the Supreme Court of BC, the Court of Appeal of BC, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Margaret was in court so much that 10 years later, the jacket was looking so ratty she had to get it replaced. In 2003, Margaret relocated to the arctic and by necessity became a solicitor. Since then these robes were only worn to ceremonial events.

Margaret hopes that those borrowing her robes will have a satisfying legal career, as she did.
