Synopsis: Donald J McKay, a local Victoria lawyer, appeared at the BC Court of Appeal to argue what sentence was appropriate for a first-time fentanyl trafficker in the decision R. v. Rutter, 2017 BCCA 193. Sgt. Hollingsworth is a member of the Victoria City Department in the intelligence section and deals with fentanyl investigations on a daily basis as a result he has seen how fentanyl has impacted policing and the community.
