Synopsis: The panel of seasoned labour law practitioners discussed the best practices for online dispute resolution, including online hearings and mediations. With the onset of COVID-19, employers and unions have had to adapt to resolve grievances through virtual means, including videoconferencing. In this session, the panel reviewed what has been working, the challenges associated with virtual proceedings and how best to navigate the virtual dispute resolution landscape.
