Comments and Observations of the Chair

We had an interesting and exciting year. We held a number of meetings where the topics were relevant to a wide variety of estate and trust lawyers. We noticed an increased trend in the number of webinar attendees, while maintaining a large in-person audience. We were pleased to continue our annual tradition of partnering with the Elder Law subsection and the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver. We also fostered what we hope will be an ongoing relationship and dialogue between family law lawyers and estate and trust lawyers.
