On April 14, 2019 the Women Lawyers Forum gathered at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver to present Rita Andreone, QC with the Debra Van Ginkle, QC Mentoring Awards and Kasari Govender with the WLF Award of Excellence.

It was a special night at the Water Street Cafe in Gastown as attendees heard from the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin.

The Fraser Valley Spring Mingler Event on June 7th at the Glass House Estate Winery in Langley. There were over 40 people in attendance.

The WLF event "Strategic Networking" included the following panelists: The Honourable Kerry-Lynne Findlay, Q.C.; Nicole Howell, Partner, HHBG Employment Lawyers; Claire Walker, Marketing Manager, Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP.

The WLF held an author-led book club event with Kate Sutherland - Organizational Development Consultant, Executive Coach, Author, and Social Entrepreneur on her book, "We Can Do This!" The sold out event was held at Clark Wilson LLP.

The CBABC WLF's Education Committee held their book club event, moderated by professional coach and leadership consultant, Andrea Verwey, on Edward M Hallowell’s 2015 book, Driven to Distraction at Work: How to Focus and Be More Productive.

The WLF event " Not Just A Bystander" included the following panelists: Sara Forte, Forte Law Corporation; Claire Marchant, Law Society of BC; and Bena Stock, Lawyers Assistance Program of BC.

The WLF Fall Launch Event featured the 11th annual "Hot Tips from Top Mentors"

This year marked the fifth year of the WLF's proud participation in the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope, fundraising for research and education and raising awareness of this devastating disease.

More than 450 people packed the Fairmont Waterfront Ballroom on April 27 to congratulate Linda K. Robertson for being bestowed the BC WLF Award of Excellence and Rachel Mockler with the Debra Van Ginkel, QC Mentoring Award. Congratulations!
