Nominations for Section Representatives are now open. Nomination forms and Candidate Statements are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, sent to Kerry Simmons KC, Chief Executive Officer, at ea@cbabc.org. Voting will take place electronically by the relevant Section Executives from March 5 to March 28, 2025.
This year, there are ten members to be elected for a 2-year term from these Section groupings:

There are four members to be elected for a 1-year term from these Section groupings:

Considerations:
Candidates, nominees and voters for a Section representative are CBA members who are on the Section Executive at the time of their election. Successful candidates must remain a CBA member throughout their term.
The time commitment includes
- Attendance at two, in-person day-long meetings in Richmond, BC with travel and accommodation provide for those outside Vancouver and New Westminster Counties
- Attendance at the CBABC Annual General Meeting
- Engaging with your colleagues to discuss issues of professional interest
- Reporting about CBABC activities at Section meetings and to the Section Executives
