This Working Group is to:
- Raise awareness of restorative justice within CBABC and the legal community through professional development programing and other means;
- Establish relationships with BC Prosecution Services, Public Prosecution Service of Canada, Criminal Defence Advocacy Society, BC Community Corrections, police, Legal Aid BC, and restorative justice associations to increase awareness and use of restorative justice, and to collaborate on education and advocacy where appropriate; and
- Develop and update CBABC policy submissions on restorative justice.
