Synopsis: We visited the topic of insights on how to approach social media as lawyers and why using social media is more important to practice management now than ever. We learned how to use tools like LinkedIn to facilitate client communication and strategic business planning, including strategies specific to immigration law practitioners.
The session focused on LinkedIn and how to use it to be a thought leader in the field, including how to create opportunities for speaking engagements, writing, research, client engagement and client development. This session was a practice management topic that focussed on the marketing of a law practice in accordance with the rules and obligations of lawyers, the importance of careful and thoughtful social media strategies, and how to leverage the LinkedIn platform.
