Mentorship

The Canadian Bar Association BC Branch (CBABC) proudly offers a number of mentoring programs to the lawyers of British Columbia.

Lawyers interested in sharing their experiences, tips for success and guidance can participate in a number of ways:

Law Students: Students at all three BC law schools benefit from mentorship programs that pair students with experienced local lawyers in their area of interest. Learn more.

Women Lawyers: Any woman lawyer or articled student in BC who is an active CBA and WLF member may participate in the Women Lawyers Forum (WLF) Mentoring Program. Learn more.

Indigenous Lawyers: All BC lawyers are invited to mentor an Indigenous lawyer thanks to the mentorship program offered jointly by the CBABC Aboriginal Lawyers Forum and the Law Society of BC. Learn more. 

Corporate Counsel: The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association Mentoring Program provides critical, hands-on advice to in-house lawyers who are seeking the insights and guidance of more experienced corporate counsel. Learn more.
