To ensure you receive notifications on news relevant to your preferred Sections, you need to enroll in those Sections. BC members do not need to be enrolled in the host Section(s) to register for a meeting and to access the online resources. However to receive notification of upcoming Section meetings/events, members must be enrolled in those Sections. Non-enrolled members can access the Sections Calendar to view all upcoming Section meetings.1

1Note: All members are required to register online prior to the meeting and/or event date to be able to attend in-person or remotely. Additional fees may apply upon registration such as meal costs.

The Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA) is included in CBA membership and auto-enrolled for in-house counsel and all government lawyers. You can opt-in or opt-out of this Section through the Section Enrollment Form.

+

If you're adding a new Section to your enrollment, your existing enrollments will already be selected in the form. For convenience, a Section will be pre-selected for a member who is sitting on the executive of a Section.

+

There is no official deadline to enroll, however we do recommend members do so before mid-September as many Sections will begin hosting their first meetings of the year in early fall. We will continue to accept Section enrollments throughout the year.

You can visit the online enrollment form again to add or remove Sections.

CBABC members no longer need to be enrolled in the host Section(s) to register for a meeting. Meeting fees may still apply and will be posted on the registration page. Attendees are required to register prior to the deadline as space may be limited, as well as to obtain CPD credit (if applicable). A list of upcoming meetings can be found our Section Calendar or CBA PD Registration website. You will be required to log-in using your last name and CBA ID to register.

Section enrollment and access to all Section resources is free, but some meeting fees may apply. However, some meetings include specific costs, usually for meals or refreshments. Members must register prior to attending any Section meeting and/or event. Kindly review full meeting and/or event details prior to registration to see if any fees apply.
