Meeting Title/Topic: The Neurobiology of Anger
Synopsis: Dr. McCreight described the neurobiology of anger and offered practical suggestions of how professionals such as lawyers and mediators can respond, especially in the context of dealing with clients who have personality disorders.

Meeting Title/Topic: The "Mediator in a Box" Conflict Resolution Tool
Synopsis: Marla Sloan introduced and demonstrated "Mediator in a Box," the conflict resolution tool that she and her sister developed to make the process of mediation available to everyone.
Reports or Resolutions prepared by the Section
The Chair introduced and implemented the CBABC Sections requirement that all non-lawyer mediators in our group complete a Privilege Pass for each meeting they attend.
Comments and Observations of the Chair
This year has seen an increase in attendance (20 at February's meeting) and the involvement of younger participants. There is renewed enthusiasm, evidenced by the forming of a planning committee, and a commitment by those involved to run a minimum of 4 meetings in 2014/2015.
