Presentation

Courts, arbitrators, and human rights tribunals have recently considered the duty to investigate, and the duty of procedural fairness, in investigations in several recent decisions. This presentation summarized some of those decisions and considered the consequences that could flow from a failure to investigate or from a flawed investigation, as well as practical considerations and approaches for the Investigator.

Duration of meeting was 1.5 hours. Of this, 1.5 hours can be counted towards CPD.
