Letter to LTSA: Launch of Land Ownership Transparency Registry (PDF)
CBABC President Jennifer Brun submitted a letter to the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia to raise concerns regarding the November 30 launch of the Land Ownership Transparency Registry (LOTR). CBABC asked that lawyers and notaries be given limited access to LOTR prior to November 30 to allow documents to be generated prior to the launch date.
This letter was prepared upon advice from and consultation with the Real Property and Commercial & Real Estate Sections.
