PRESENTATION

The Women Lawyers Forum hosted the annual Junior Women Lawyers Event.

The focus of the event was on alternative dispute resolution and creative problem solving. For new lawyers, it is important to be aware of all the tools available to in the toolbox to effectively and creatively advocate for your clients both inside and outside of the courtroom. This is particularly important in light of the access to justice crisis and the incredible cost of litigation.

The panelists at this event shared practical tips and tricks for making the most out of your court appearances, or avoiding those appearances if possible by resolving disputes out of chambers or the courtroom.

Duration of meeting was 2.0 hours. Of this, 2.0 hours can be counted towards CPD.
